Our mission is to supply comprehensive technological solutions that allow us to keep available the most critical services of a company, therefore optimizing their investment and aligning IT requirements with the particular business field of an organization. IPM is present in Spain and Portugal. We employ more than 100 workers and we meet the needs of both countries with several offices.
We have always been characterized by being the first to introduce the latest technology in the Iberian market, IPM being the first to install STK’s Silos and EMC2’s arrays in the 1980s. Our aim is to provide companies with a global service, that is, to be on the alert for any needs our clients might have 24 hours a day, 365 a year.
Our areas of expertise cover, among others, servers, storage, Data Recovery and Retention, Virtualization of Servers and Desktops, Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), High Availability Solutions (HA) and Disaster Recoveries (DR).
Data are protected in order to ensure their availability and accessibility at all times. The protection of our data is a universal need, and backing them up is just one of the available protection strategies. As an organization that integrates solutions, IPM is a specialist in most backup tools found in the market, which allows up to provide added‑value products and services to improve the existing infrastructure.
IT departments need to provide their organizations with efficient and effective information systems. Budgets are constantly cut down while a company’s needs increase: data stratification allows for an alignment of the storage infrastructure and the different kinds of data.
Current DPCs are solid, safe and reliable. However, that doesn’t seem to be enough in a context of a constant changing reality. That is the reason why a DPC must also be dynamic, efficient and flexible. IPM proposes the most suitable steps to transform a Data Processing Centre through a Virtualization process.
More information about Virtualization: Revolution of the Data Processing Centre
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) offers virtualization of the desktop environment, providing corporative control and management while keeping a familiar environment for the ultimate user. Thanks to the centralized managing of data and the centralized display of applications and upgrades, the need for a Help Desk and the costs are reduced.

After the summer parentheses and thanks to the successful breakfast celebrated last May, IPM resumes their breakfast meetings with a new date set for November 17th.
These brief meetings -no longer than two hours- are aimed at updating attendees on the last innovations in Information Technologies. The openness, concretion in the topics to be discussed and the previous fantastic experience of our clients make this event an exciting starting point to undertake new technological challenges. Far from being passive, an active participation of the attendees (never more tan 12) turns any topic into a debate. Consequently, we all benefit from the others’ knowledge –not only from experts who present the topic but also from the participants’ real experiences.
If you with to take part in one of our breakfasts meetings, or if you wish to suggest a topic for discussion you are particularly interested in, please email us at marketing@ipm.es and we will contact you shortly.
